Which one of your marriages?

That turkey Bob Barr is running for president.
He will be seeking the nomination of the Libertarian Party. In his announcement today, he said he had a life membership in the Lib Party. This is ironic, seeing as how he was elected to Congress as a Republican.
Mr. Barr is not expected to win many electoral votes. His role will probably be limited to taking votes away from either J. Sidney McCain or B. Hussein Obama. The conventional wisdom (oxymoron alert) is that the votes will be taken from McCain.
In 1992, the Libertarians got enough votes in a Georgia senate election to force a runoff. The Republican won the runoff.
When he was in Congress, Mr. Barr was a sponsor of the Defense of Marriage Act. This law prohibits same sex couples from getting hitched. Mr. Barr has been married three times. ( I don’t know if one of them was to Roseanne) At the time of this debate, someone asked Mr. Barr ” Which one of your marriages are you defending?”
Mr. Barr was scheduled to be a guest on the Neal Boortz show this morning. Mr. Boortz also says he is a libertarian. Mr. Boortz says his support of Mr. Barr will depend on whether he calls the troops in Iraq occupiers or liberators.
